O5, the trailer, comes last and goes to the opposite side elbow. There are many options depending on what the point guard finds open.
The options are:
1 all the way
O1 can take it all the way to the free throw line for a 3-on-1 break.
1. Pass to Trailer, Staggered Down screen for Wing.
2. Look to Wing cutting off Staggered Down Screen, or Trailer if X helps.
3. Cut off Staggered Down Screen.
should the trailer be unable to get the pass safely into the big man, or make a penetrating move, he reverses the ball passing to the opposite wing, and cuts to the basket executing the give-and-go.
Full court outlet & trailer drill. Three lines one under the basket (rebounder), another at half-court sideline on ballside of rebounder, and the third out of bounds at the weak side hash-mark with an obstacle (we use a saw-horse).
