Amla (Amlica embilicus) seed oil - Amla is the name given to the edible fruit of a small leafy tree which grows throughout India.

Almond Oil - Obtained from the nuts, almond oil is used in skin care preparations as an emollient or as a carrier oil.

Natural nut oil high in fatty acids, absorbed easily through skin than mineral oil.

ALMOND OIL - Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis. Pressed from the ripe seeds (nut) of the almond tree. A versatile, carrier oil, good for all skin types. Ground almonds make for excellent natural abrasives.

Honey 1 tsp
Mix honey with almond oil and massage on the hands. Put on a pair of old cotton gloves and sleep in them. Wash off the hands in warm soapy water in the morning. The hands will be soft.

4oz almond oil
1oz beeswax
3oz aloe vera gel
4oz vegetable fat
Method
- Put the beeswax and almond oil into a basin.
- Place the basin over a pan of simmering water.
- Melt the beeswax and stir the mixture together.

Rub almond oil on the wrinkles in upward strokes. Leave overnight and wash with warm water next morning.
Tip 4:
Cut open a Vitamin -E capsule, add ½ tsp of glycerine and apply. Wash after 15- 20 minutes.

PREPARATION ...

Sweet Almond Oil oil obtained by pressing sweet almonds. Sweet almond oil is good general lubricating oil suitable for most skin types. It is rich in protein and vitamin E that softens and smoothes the skin.

Stearic acid: (from vegetable fatty acids) soothes & softens, emulsifier

Almond Oil: Vegetable oil derived from almonds with softening properties. It usually used in cosmetics. It is the oil high in moisturizing fatty acids.

You can buy small tubes of oil treatment or just use almond oil. Warm the oil, then apply it to the hair. Massage it in well and wrap the head in plastic wrap or foil.

Ultra-Mayonnaise Hair Conditioner: Take 2 tsp Lemon Juice 1 1/4 tsp' Honey 1 Egg 1/4 cup Sweet Almond Oil or Olive Oil 4 Drops Rosemary Essential Oil. Then in a small bowl, add egg, honey and lemon juice. Beat well.

Other ingredients that you should keep an eye out for include sunflower seed oil (Helianthus annuus), sweet almond oil (Prunus dulcis), coconut oil (Cocos nucifera), alfa tocopherol (vitamin E), cocoa butter (Theobroma cacao), ...

Sweet almond oil is also thought to deeply moisturize skin. You can substitute the emu oil with this carrying oil. Shea butter and cocoa butter are deeply moisturizing. Mineral oil is cheap and said to moisturize, but it can irritate the skin.

Melt the beeswax and add in apricot, calendula and almond oils. Mix together and add honey. Stir the mixture at a consistent rate until all of the ingredients are fully blended. Remove the mixture from the heat while stirring.

Coat hands in a layer of sweet almond oil, to norish and soften, then wrap in a warm towel and relax for 15 minutes. Unwrap, and gently push back cuticles using a rubber hoof stick (available from most chemists).

Take one tablespoon of castor oil, one tablespoon of almond oil, one tablespoon of glycerine, a teaspoon of cider vinegar and a teaspoon of protein and four drops of sandalwood. Beat this mixture together.

Apricot Kernel Oil
Similar to almond oil, used as an emollient in lotions, creams, etc. Ground seeds are often used in facial scrubs and masks.

4. Add a ripe avocado and two teaspoons each of honey and almond paste or almond oil without alcohol.
5. Blend ingredients together.
6. Massage "conditioner" into locks section by section, wrap hair in plastic, and rinse after 30 minutes.

It is very rich, very creamy and has a slight scent of almond oil. The ingredients of this night cream also caught my attention. Other than the Royal Jelly, the cream also included bee pollen extract, cocoa butter and honey.

Instead, look for "nonclogging" oils, like avocado oil, mineral oil, primrose oil, or almond oil. Shea oil -- or butter -- is controversial, because it can clog facial pores. And vegetable shortening, LaPlante says, is a really bad idea.

Fixed Oil: A fixed oil is chemically the same as a fat, but is generally liquid ie. Almond oil, grapeseed oil.

The oil is extracted from the fleshy part of the stone, also known as persic oil it is very similar in it’s rich, emollient properties to almond oil, softening, hydrating and conditioning.

The treatment may begin with a gentle, full-body massage using a blend of almond meal, almond oil, or sea salt to lift dead skin cells and stimulate circulation.

All you need to do is dip a piece of cotton wool in milk and wipe your face with it. It also cleans unseen dirt and goes down into your pores. Another fine cleanser is almond oil, especially effective in protecting the delicate skin under the eyes.
