ANAGEN PHASE
The early phase of the hair cycle when hair synthesis takes place.
ANAPHORESIS
Liquids, like water based skin care products, are forced into the skin from the negative or positive pole of a galvanic current machine.

Anagen (growth phase): Most hair is growing at any given time. Each hair spends several years in this phase.
Catagen (transitional phase): Over a few weeks, hair growth slows and the hair follicle shrinks.

Anagen: One of the two phases of hair growth (the active growing phase; the other is the telogen phase, the resting phase of the hair growth cycle).

Anagen is the growth stage of the human hair. This is when the skin packs old cells together to grow the hair. Next is the catagen which the involuting or regressing phase. Then telogen is the resting phase.

Hair terminology - explanation of some important terms like: anagen, catagen and telogen - three phases of hair growth.

Amphoteric - A mild nonirritating surfactant (an agent that allows oil to mix with water) often used in shampoos; leaves hair manageable and is gentle enough for chemically treated hair.
Anagen - The active growth of the hair cycle.
