Arrowroot: A very fine textured, high starch powder. May be included in skin applications as a paste (assisting in drying pimples) or in body powder (replacing talc).

 


2teaspoons arrowroot powder
2 teaspoons orris root powder
Method
- Mix the two ingredients together (for long hair you may need to double the quantities).
- Brush the powder through the hair.
- Brush hair well to remove the powder.

1/4 cup arrowroot
1/4 cup powdered orrisroot
1/4 cup water
1 tsp ground sage
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Add water until paste is desired thickness / consistency. Store at room temperature in a tightly covered jar.

Bath or Body Powder - Cornstarch, tapioca or arrowroot are effective as bath powders.
Dandruff Preventer - Mix 1/2 cup of vinegar with 1/2 cup of water and rinse hair before shampooing. Do this twice a week.
