Catnip: A traditional cold and flu remedy. It is a useful diaphoretic helpful in any feverish condition, especially acute bronchitis.
Catnip Essential Oil Catnip is a perennial herb belonging to the mint family.
Bring water to a boil and use a tea strainer to steep the catnip, thyme and chamomile in the water. Let steep for 25 to 45 minutes. Gently mix the liquid soap into the herbal infusion. Use about one tablespoon of shampoo for shoulder-length hair.
Place boiling water in a cup and add catnip. Allow to steep for 10 minutes. Add castile soap to cup. Mix well. Apply entire portion to wet hair and lather well. Rinse with cool water.
