Cetearyl Alcohol Fatty alcohol blend of cetyl and stearyl alcohols which emulsifies, retains moisture, smooths, and regulates consistency.

 


Cetearyl alcohol and ceteareth-20 - An emollient, thickener, and emulsion stabilizer, this blend is derived from naturally occurring fatty acids from coconut oil.

Cetearyl Alcohol: A waxy, crystalline solid used as an emulsifier. Not to be confused with drying, ethyl alcohols.
Cetyl Alcohol: A secondary emulsifier that thickens or adds body to lotions. Not to he confused with drying, ethyl alcohols.

Cetearyl Alcohol
Fatty alcohols are components of all natural waxes - derived from plant oil and used as an emulsifier, emollient and thickener. Not to be confused with Ethyl alcohol. Gives a high viscocity to a skincare product.
