EFFLEURAGE
Firm or light soothing, stroking movement that doesn't drag the skin; employed in massage, using either padded parts of fingertips or palms.
EMOLLIENT
A substance that softens the skin by slowing the evaporation of water.
Effleurage - a massage technique using flowing movements up and down the face and neck during a facial.
Elastin - fibers in the skin that give it elasticity.
These ingredients are obtained by three methods, distillation, expression and extraction by effleurage and maceration. Distillation is an economical way of obtaining a fragrance.
