emulsifier- substance that keeps two or more components of a product from separating. This mixture is called an emulsion.
exfoliant- removes dead skin cells
fragrance oil- fragrance oils are synthetic scents.

Emulsifier: A substance that holds oil in water or water in oil. They are necessary in the manufacture of cream and lotions.
Emulsion: A mixture of two incompatible substances. Most creams on the cosmetic market are emulsions.

Emulsifiers
Emulsifiers hold two ingredients together that wouldn't normally mix. This can be either something like wax or the physical action of shaking the bottle.

Emulsifier - An emulsifier is an agent that allows oil and water to blend in a lotion or cream. Cell Tech products use only natural emulsifiers.

Emulsifier An agent used to make an emulsion, which is a mixture of liquids, minute globules of one being suspended in a second that doesn't dissolve the first.
Emollients Ingredients that soften or smooth.

Emulsifier - a substance that disperses one ingredient into another in which it would not ordinarily dissolve. An emulsifier binds water with oily humectants and emollients so that the texture of a product is smooth.

EMULSIFIER - Agent used to assist in the production of an emulsion. Emulsifiers enable oils to be dispersed throughout a water base to form a cream or lotion that does not separate.

Emulsion - a suspension of two ingredients that do not mix, i.e.

Laureth-23: An emulsifier. The polyethylene glycol ether of lauryl alcohol.
Lauroamphocarboxyglycinate: Mild, foaming surfactant for shampoos and facial cleansers. An amphoteric organic compound.

It is a very soothing natural emulsifier, high in sulfur and extremely nourishing to the skin.
CARROT: Cleansing, healing, and conditioning, with anti-oxidant and antiseptic properties. A natural source of vitamin A to help promote skin health.

Acrylates C 10-30 Alkyl Acrylates Crosspolymer - This emulsifier helps thicken and stabilize product formulations.
Batyl Alcohol - A humectant derived from glycerin that helps draw moisture to the skin.

* Cetyl Alcohol: A secondary emulsifier that thickens or adds body to lotions. Not to he confused with drying, ethyl alcohols.
* Chamomile Extract: Extract made from the flowers of anthemis nobilis. Used for its soothing properties.

It is used in skin products as an emulsifier, and as a thickener that also delivers other ingredients into the skin. Chlorphenesin - An alcohol used to preserve the ingredients in a cosmetic product.

Preservatives
Preserving personal care products is necessary in order to prevent contamination from a wide spectrum of bacteria, yeasts and molds.

The foundation of every lotion is an oil- and water-based combination that comes together thanks to the addition of an emulsifier. You can use most any oil to make lotion.

Borax - Sodium borate, a white crystalline mineral generally used as an emulsifier or cleanser. Used in cream preparations as an emulsifier.

Mallow: An anti-inflammatory substance that helps prevent age lines and reduce eye swelling.

STEARYL ALCOHOL: An emulsifier and thickener found in a variety of vegetable fats. Also acts as an emulsion stabilizer, emollient, anti-foam agent and lubricant.

BEESWAX: Made from flowers by honeybees to create their honeycomb. Used as an emulsifier, thickener, and formula stabilizer that protects the skin and prevents moisture loss. It is all-natural, with a delicate honey-sweet aroma.
