Epilate: The removal of hair beneath the skin's surface. Examples include using wax or electrolysis. This method produces longer lasting results.
Epithelium: Cellular covering of internal and external body surfaces.
After one hair has been epilated, the same procedure is repeated with another; one must make sure that at least 5 mm distance is left in between two epilated hair follicles. The least possible current that will produce epilation is employed.
Before you hit the tanning salon, don't forget the preliminaries: wax, shave or epilate and exfoliate at least 24 hours before, remove any perfume, deodorant and make-up, and wear loose clothing. You can choose from several different shades of tan.
