Psoriasis is a chronic skin disorder with no known cure. The name is derived from the Greek word Psora and means, “to itch'. It is the growth of too many skin cells.
Guttate psoriasis often comes on quite suddenly, which I can attest to. I'm confident that my two separate flares over the past five years were due to painful throat infections, likely strep throat.
