I want highlights. Are they easy?
Yes, they don't normally pose any problems on natural hair, but make sure you wait at least four weeks if you have recently had your colour done.

Highlights consist of selecting small or thick strands of hair that are then lightened at least 2 shades lighter than the rest of your hair. Highlights should compliment your natural or artificial color.

Highlights to watch out for when we shop next autumn are:
- Shoulders: they are the new zone. Remember the Eighties - power shoulders are big.
- Tactile textures: faux fur, mohair, fluffy knits and shaggy sheepskins.
