The PABA Vitamin Prevents Grey Hair
Most people have never heard of the PABA Vitamin, because it's a rare vitamin that's not largely sold in very many stores. PABA is short for para-aminobenzoic acid, and is usually sold in the strength of 500 mg.

 


PABA: Para-aminobenzoic acid. Found in the vitamin B complex. Used as an ingredient in some sunscreen products.

The active ingredients for most sunscreens are one of the following: PABA and PABA esters, Benzophenones, Cinnamates, Salicylates, and Anthranilate.

Patients who are sensitized to p-phenylenediamine, aniline, procaine, benzocaine, sulfonamides may develop cross-sensitization to a PABA sunscreen.

Chemical sunscreens include Benzophenones, PABA and PABA (para amino benzoic acid), Cinnamates, Salicylates, Digalloyl trioleat, Menthyl anthranilate, etc.
Chemical sunscreens are powerful free radical generators, so they are not safe to use.

The sensitive skin of babies and children is easily irritated by chemicals in adult sunscreens, so avoid sunscreens with para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA) and benzephenones like dioxybenzone, oxybenzone, or sulisobenzone.

Examples of products that are over-the-counter drugs are fluoride toothpastes, hormone creams, sunscreen preparations, antiperspirants, and antidandruff shampoos.
