Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid): It is essential to brain functioning. A lack of it can cause nerve degeneration and depression. Vitamin B-5 is also responsible for turning uric acid into harmless substances that are easily excreted by the body.

Calcium d-Pantothenate (Pro-Vitamin B5 or Pantothenic Acid) - is used as an anti acne compound in many acne or pimple products. It is also known to have mild hydrating properties and wound healing abilities.

Panthenol is the provitamin of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5). It improves the moisture-retention capacity of the skin and stimulates skin regeneration. Dry skin stays supple and elastic for longer. It has an anti-inflammatory and anti-itching effect.

Research has shown that panthenol, a natural hydrator, penetrates into the lower skin layers where it is absorbed by skin cells and becomes pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5).

Traditionally used on the skin by Native Mexican and South American women as protection against dry winds. Rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B5, D and E, also pantothenic acid and phytosterols. It also contains other essential fatty acids.
