Secretion: A release of material such as saliva or urine.

Excessive secretion of oils from the glands combine with naturally occurring dead skin cells to block the hair follicles.

Lanolin- a fatty secretion derived from sheep's wool. It's completely natural and easily absorbed by the skin but can cause allergic reactions and clog pores. It tends to be heavy, sticky, and greasy.

Lanolin: A refined derivative of the unctuous fat-like sebaceous secretion of sheep. It consists of a highly complex mixture of esters of high molecular weight aliphatic, steroid or triterpenoid alcohols and fatty acids.

It is imperative to keep oily skin clean and to control the excess secretion of oil.On the positive side, oily skin tends to age more gradually as compared to other skin types, as natural oil protects oily skin from fine lines and wrinkles.
