Talc A mineral often used as the base ingredient for makeup powders. Often found together with other minerals, talc is separated by cleaning and refining processes.

Directly causes cancer. It has been shown that both inhaling talc and using it in the genital area can cause ovarian cancer. The Talc used by Living Nature Cosmetics is only used in pressed products and is certified asbestos free.

What Is Talc/Talcum Powder?
One of the great attributes of Talcum powder is that it is great at absorbing moisture. It is an incredibly fine powder when ground down and this helps give it the ability to absorb moisture from the skin.

Personally I hate products with mineral oil, excess amounts of cheap artificial fragrances and fillers such as talc. But there is also good quality makeup and it does need to be expensive.

Use oil or talc to make skin more slippery. You can apply vegetable oils: almond, peach, coconut, olive or sunflower-seed in mixtures with essential oils. Mixture of oils is cooked in small quantity, for a couple of procedures.
