Then telogen is the resting phase.
Ninety percent of the time our hair follicles are in the anagen phase while ten to fourteen percent are I the telogen phase and only one to two percent are in the catagen phase.
Telogen effluvium: A month or two after a personal shock (such as surgery, childbirth, severe stress), hair can abruptly fall out in large patches. Typically, new hair starts regrowing right away.

Considerations
Hair loss usually develops gradually and may be patchy or all over (diffuse). You lose roughly 100 hairs from your head every day. The average scalp contains about 100,000 hairs.
