Vegetable glycerin - An extremely effective humectant (drawing moisture from the air to moisturize the skin or hair), it also has emollient properties.

 


VEGETABLE GLYCERIN: A humectant (water-attracting/binding ingredient), emulsifier, and emollient naturally produced from a combination of vegetable fat and water.

Vegetable Glycerine Vegetable glycerin leaves a nice, soft feel to the skin that creates a layer of protection to prevent further moisture loss and re-hydrate the skin.

Vegetable glycerin
Derived from vegetable oil; humectant, emulsifier and skin softener.
Vegetable squalane
Perhydrosqualene
Derived from olives; emollient and soothing properties.

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN - A sweet tasting, colorless, sticky fluid, usually a by-product of soap-making, that draws moisture to the skin.

Vegetable Glycerin
Rich humectant, emollient and lubricant naturally extracted from vegetable oils, used in cosmetic formulations for thousands of years.

ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN: Derived from vegetable glycerin; natural deodorizer and skin conditioner.
EVENING PRIMROSE OIL: Calming, cleansing, and moisturizing herb.

Vegetable Glycerin (V): Glycerin derived from vegetable fats.
Vellum (B): fine parchment prepared from the skins of calves, lambs or kids
Velvet (B): fabric made usually of silk but also rayon or nylon
Vitamin A (retinol) (B): An aliphatic alcohol.

Propylene Glycol :
Ideally from vegetable glycerine & grain alcohol. In general cosmetics, most used are of synthetic nature. Avoid any formula exceeding 5% of usage.
Rice Bran Oil :
Rich in vitamin E, similar to wheat germ oil.

1/2 cup rose, lavender, or distilled water
1 teaspoon pure vegetable glycerin
1/4 to 1 teaspoon cold pressed organic almond oil
12 drops grapefruit seed extract ...

Glyceryl Stearate SE is made from hardened vegetable oil and vegetable glycerin with an addition of vegetable stearic acid. Serves as an emulsifier.
