Biology EggElectromagnetic energy

Electrical energy or electromagnetic energy is a form of energy present in any electric field or magnetic field, or in any volume containing electromagnetic radiation.

Main article: electrical energy
An object can also have potential energy by virtue of its electric charge and several forces related to their presence.

Whether a receptor is a part of a neuron or in close contact with one, all convert the energy they receive into the electrical energy of the nerve impulse by depolarizing the connecting nerve cell's membrane.

(Science: radiobiology) device used to store electrical energy by accumulating charge on conductors situated close to one another. Energy may be stored and withdrawn at varying rates.

Energy exists in many forms, such as heat, light, chemical energy, and electrical energy. Energy is the ability to bring about change or to do work. Thermodynamics is the study of energy.
