Konrad Lorenz Konrad Zacharias Lorenz (November 7, 1903 - February 27, 1989) was an Austrian zoologist and ornithologist.
Much of our knowledge of imprinting was learned from the research of Konrad Lorenz, shown here with some of his imprinted goslings. Lorenz shared a Nobel Prize in 1973 for his discoveries.
