Non-disjunction

Biology NondisjunctionNonsense Mutation

In non-disjunction, a chromosome may fail to separate during anaphase. One daughter cell will receive both sister chromosomes and the other will receive none.

The cause is a non-disjunction when chromosomes do not separate during the first meiotic division.
C.
