Relaxed DNA

Relaxed DNA A circular DNA molecule that has no superhelical turns.

RELAXED DNA - See SUPERCOIL.
REPLICATION - The copying of a nucleic acid molecule into a new nucleic acid molecule of similar type (i.e., DNA --> DNA, or RNA --> RNA).

extended chromosome - the relaxed DNA state found during interphase of the cell cycle.
G1 stage - first stage in interphase, during which cellular growth and development takes place; precedes DNA synthesis or the S stage .
