Sewall Wright Sewall Green Wright (December 21, 1889 - March 3, 1988) was one of the primary founders of population genetics which led to the modern evolutionary synthesis.
Sewall Wright was more concerned with drift. He stressed that large populations are often subdivided into many subpopulations. In his theory, genetic drift played a more important role compared to selection.
F-statistics: A measure of genetic structure developed by Sewall Wright (1969, 1978) known as Wright's F-statistics.
