aft, after - Toward the stern (rear) - of the boat.

aerodynamics
The study of air flow around objects. Compare with hydrodynamics.

An aerodynamic surface mounted vertically on the superstructure, near the transom, to improve directional stability; sometimes called the air rudder.
Tallow Dip
Candle that burns grease.

[edit] Sail aerodynamics
Sails propel the boat in one of two ways. When the boat is going in the direction of the wind (i.e. downwind - see Points of sail), the sails may be set merely to trap the air as it flows by.

Usually used when referring to an objects aerodynamic or hydrodynamic properties. Can buoy A cylindrical buoy painted green and having an odd number used in the United States as a navigational aid. At night they may have a green light.

Sails on a sailboat behave much like the wings on an airplane with part of the propulsion coming from deflected air but as much as 70% due to aerodynamic forces.

The ferry Juan Patricio doesn't even have a deck open to the weather, so the tourist-class passengers are left squinting out of windows with an aerodynamic slant seemingly designed to maximize the reflection of interior seats, carpeting, ...

The curvature of an object such as a sail, keel or deck. Usually used when referring to an objects aerodynamic or hydrodynamic properties.

And that it has an aerodynamic house cabin. It reminds me of when you have to give a dog a pill but he won't take it. You wrap that pill in some burger and give it to him.
