BOW LINE - A docking line leading from the bow.
BOWLINE - A knot used to form a temporary loop in the end of a line.
The hook or clip connects the thimble eye of the tow line directly to the bow eye of the power boat.
Set the parking brake of the towing vehicle, and put it in park (or first gear if a manual transmission).
Move the vessel onto the trailer far enough to attach the winch line to the bow eye of the vessel.
