Orlop deck

Orlop deck: The lowest deck of a ship of the line. The deck covering in the hold.
Outboard motor: A motor mounted externally on the transom of a small boat.

ORLOP DECK The term formerly applied to the lowest deck in a ship; now practically obsolete. OUTBOARD Away from the center toward the outside; outside the hull.
