Bipinnately compound leaves are twice divided: the leaflets are arranged along a secondary vein that is one of several branching off the rachis. Each leaflet is called a "pinnule". The pinnules on one secondary vein are called "pinna"; e.g.

 


Bipinnate - Doubly pinnate, as of a leaf consisting of a central axis and lateral axes to which leaflets are attached.
Bolt - The growth of a plant too quickly to flower at the expense of good overall development.

It has a dense and spreading crown of bipinnate foliage and numerous yellow, with red and purple filaments, flowers.The brown woody pod contains the seeds; black, shiny squares surrounded by pulp.
