Bonsai trees bring a certain exotic look to any home or office. Finding them, however, can be a little tricky if you don't know where to look.

Particularly valuable are the illustrations of how to wrap wire onto bonsai branches to make the little trees grow with strategic twists and turns.

The Madagascar Palm - Pachypodium lamerii - is an exotic succulent related to plumerias. Its trunk is covered with shiny silver pointy hard needles that look like thorns.
