Fukien tea has an attractive gray bark with darker, warty elevated areas. Its small leaves allow it to be used for even the littlest bonsai. The tree seems to be continuously covered with small white five petaled flowers.
Fukien Teas are primarily indoor trees but can be put outside during the summer. When inside, place your Fukien Tea in good light out of direct sunlight and/or direct afternoon summer sun. Fukien Teas need only one hour of full sun a day.
Notes: The Fukien Tea is a finky tree when grown indoor in Temperate regions. It does not like sudden changes in temperature, or droughty areas. It complains if over or under watered and is quite susceptible to insects.
