[edit] Herbaceous grafting
Grafting is often done for non-woody plants such as a tomato, cucumber, eggplant and watermelon.[2] The main advantage of grafting is for disease-resistant rootstocks.

Accent plant - A separate planting, often seasonal, of small herbaceous plants, bulbs or grasses, displayed in conjunction with bonsai when on formal display.

Notes :Stipules falcate, large, 5-8 mm, herbaceous, glabrous, margin serrate, apex acute; petiole 4-5 mm, narrowly winged or not, glabrous; leaf blade broadly obovate to obovate-oblong or obovate-elliptic, 2-6 × 1-4.

The Potentilla genus consists of about 500 species of shrubs, herbaceous perennials and a few annuals and biennials found throughout the Northern hemisphere.
