Kabudachi
In theory the multi trunk style is the same as the double trunk style, but with 3 or more trunks. All the trunks grow out of one root system, and it truly is one single tree.

When this happens the name given is the Kabudachi style. The main difference from a normal collection in this instance is that at the foot of the Bonsai tree there is a group congregation in the centre of the Bonsai pot.

In some cases they spring from a single root underground, in which case the trunks are more like above-ground branches. This is termed kabudachi style.

All these different styles have a corresponding Kabudachi style, where the different trunks all spring from a single root, and a Tsukami-Yõse style, where the different trunks all spring from the middle of the pot.
