NEAGARI Most of us have driven down lanes where the steep banks have been washed away to expose the roots of an ancient beech or pine, and this style is based on such cases.
Raised root - Neagari style Many plants can grow in the raised root style, including black pine, white pine, and serissa.
Exposed Root Style (Neagari) The roots in this style are significantly exposed, much like a mangrove trees. The top portion of tree, above the exposed root, can take any of the any of the more upright or slanting or cascade styles.
