Bonsai YamadoriYose

The Yew pictured here at Wakehurst, UK is one of a number that have survived on sandstone rocks since the early 19th century.

Description: Yew trees are native to Britain and particularly common in England and Wales, where they have been panted in many churchyards. These evergreen trees grow very slowly and live for many hundreds of years.

The growth of a yew is slow and steady and you will benefit from starting a tree off from a garden center, one that already has established a trunk.
