Assessor
A public official who establishes the value of a property for taxation purposes.
Assessment Rolls
Assessment rolls are simply lists of taxable property.
Assessed Value
The government (local, provincial, or state) provides an assessed value of a property's worth for tax related purposes.
In the case of personal property, the assessment roll is the official list containing the name and address of the owner, a description of the personal property, and its assessed value.
