General Obligation Bonds (GOs)
General obligation bonds are backed by the full faith and credit of the issuer for prompt payment of principal and interest.

GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS - Statewide bond issues that are secured by an unconditional pledge of the full faith, credit and taxing power of the state.

Notes:
General obligation bonds are issued with the belief that a municipality will be able to repay its debt obligation through taxation or revenue from projects. No assets are used as collateral.
