GNI per capita, Atlas method (current US$) GNI per capita (formerly GNP per capita) is the gross national income, converted to U.S. dollars using the World Bank Atlas method, divided by the midyear population.

There are various other formulas that go alongside calculating Gross National Product; these may include economic measurements like:
Gross National Income (GNI), Net National Product (NNP), and Net National Income (NNI).

But the value of output can also be estimated by looking at the national income earned from the production of goods and services. Some countries monitor GNI (gross national income) as the key indicator of economic growth.

The total value of all goods and services produced within a nation over a specified period of time, representing the sum of wages, profits, rents, interest, and pension payments to residents of the nation.
