NOPAT
Net Operating Profit After Taxes. The formula is NOPAT = operating income x (1 - Tax Rate) NOPAT is a profitability measure that omits the cost of debt financing (i.e. it omits interest payments, along with their associated tax break).

 


NOPAT
Net operating profit after taxes. Can be calculated as: noi x (1 - T) where noi is the net operating income and T is the marginal tax rate applicable to a line of business.

NOPAT

NOPAT is an accounting concept. Firms report it in their financial statements. Some implementations of economic profit simply use reported NOPAT. Others modify NOPAT to make it, in some sense, more economically meaningful.

The effective interest rate is the real rate of interest paid or earned on a loan. It is the discount rate that equates the payment stream to the net proceeds.
