Open Interest - The number of outstanding long or short positions for a given exchange-traded futures or option contract.

Open Interest
The amount of outstanding contracts on a specific underlying security. A contract is considered to be outstanding if it is has not expired, or been exercised or closed out.

Open Interest: In options markets, the number of outstanding contracts for a particular series of options.

Open Interest
The total number of futures contracts long or short in a delivery month or market that has been entered into and not yet liquidated by an offsetting transaction or fulfilled by delivery.
