Paid-Up Capital
The total amount of shareholder capital that has been paid in full by shareholders.
Notes:
Paid-up capital is essentially the portion of authorized stock that the company has issued and received payment for.
Paid-up Capital (PUC)
The paid-up capital (PUC) of a share generally refers to the amount contributed to the corporation when the share was issued.
The PAID-UP CAPITAL and reserves must be at least Rs.5 lakh.
Its conduct must not be to the detriment of its depositors.
Scheduled banks are required to maintain cash reserves with the RBI as prescribed.
