Reserve replacement ratio
An oil company's reserve replacement ratio is the amount added to its reserves divided by the amount extracted.

PLACEMENT RATIO " A statistic published in the Daily Bond Buyer. It is the ratio of the par value of new issues sold (placed) compared to the total par value of new issues that came to market during a one week period.

The percentages of last week's new municipal bond offerings that have been bought from the underwriters, according to the Bond Buyer newspaper.
