Temporary Financing - Consists of commercial paper, lines of credit, inventory financing and bridge loans. These obligations have to be satisfied within a relatively short timeframe.

A type of temporary financing used by the U.S. Treasury. One-day certificates are interest bearing and are used when the Treasury must borrow from the Federal Reserve System.

Gap Loan
Temporary financing meeting a developer's financial difference between a construction loan and a permanent mortgage.

Turnaround Loan
Definition: Temporary financing, secured or unsecured, designed to assist the borrower in acquiring assets. Turnaround loans are designed to be repaid promptly and are usually succeeded by revolving financing.
