Badged as an Acura RL in the United States, the Honda Legend succeeds on a number of levels, one of the most important of which is making a strong first impression.
But Acura's first challenge came in the form of an oversized TL, and Lexus gave us the ES 300 in the shape of a rebadged Camry. Not exactly heavy-hitters.
But the headlights have become bug-eyed versus the "sinister," "partially hooded" look of the previous 3, 5, and 7 Series with their carved lower hemispheres (now copied by a number of other players most notable on the Acura RSX which is nicely done ...
It will die like the Honda / Acura NSX, why, because it is too perfect. people like Ferrari because they are temperamental and the manual shift is a little clunky through the gate.
It's like the Acura front sheild times eleventy. The slitted vertical louvers on the foglights look strange too, but you barely notice them on the Terrain's French face.
When the 2011 Buick Enclave is compared to top competitors which include SUVs from Lexus and Acura, the Enclave proves to be a good option due to its sophisticated style, luxurious features and high performance.
Honda's line of luxury cars is branded Acura in North America.
In October 1946, Soichiro Honda established the Honda Technical Research Institute in Hamamatsu, Japan, to develop and produce diminutive 2-cycle motorbike engines.
Honda was first with Acura, in 1986, then Toyota and Nissan followed suit with Lexus and Infiniti respectively.
