First generation Acura Legend
In 1986, following a decade of research, Honda opened 60 all-new dealerships in North America to support its Acura automobile division.

Remember the '86 Acura Legend Coupe, the definition of elegant muscle? Or how about the '97 Integra Type R, the weekend racer you couldn't break? These were Acuras that inspired passion, joy, and a special place burned into my long-term memory.

The more conservative Accord now bears resemblance to the Acura Legend. All Accords sold in North America now come with a 2.2 litre fuel injected engine standard.

To this day the E46 strikes me as one of the more beautiful cars on the road today- if the design isn't timeless, it's at least clean and elegant, much like that of the original Acura Legend.
