The BMC CLASSIC MINI was featured in many movies, The BMW MINI was used in the 2003 remake of The Italian Job.
The original was designed by the British Motor Corporation, or BMC, to provide the optimum in efficient, minimalist transportation.

This is a great successor to the Radford and Wood & Pickett Mini Coopers etc of the old BMC days where anyone that was anyone had such a high profile Austin or Moris Mini Cooper in their garage and prices were not even spoken about! ...
However, BMW retained the Mini name and the planned new model. This distinctive two-door car was designed for BMC.
Mini became a brand in its own right in 1969 though it was again marketed under the Austin name plate in the '80s.
Pity that many seem to regard them in a poorer light than rivals from BMC, Ford and Rootes.

Fix the spelling and grammar ...
The Cooper Formula Junior cars ran a highly-tuned version of the BMC A-series engine, essentially the same as the engine used in the Mini.
