For 85 years Cadillac has been producing luxury motor cars for General Motors. Since its introduction in 1956 the DeVille line has been a top-seller.
The current Cadillac sedan line up is kind of the same way. It looks like nothing else and the shape is starting to grow on me. I liked the coupe from the beginning.

"Feels like a Cadillac sedan wearing platform shoes," says Car and Driver. "Crisp steering, a willing chassis, and plenty of power." However, the SRX competes in a highly competitive class and doesn't measure up to top rivals.

It was originally slated for 1983 and a new line of downsized Cadillac sedans.
Bottom line is that if you like the edgy, angular look of the CTS, XLR and STS sedans, then you'll like the styling on the SRX. And if you don't like the SRX, you won't like the new Cadillac sedans.
The front wheel drive Seville was retired in 2004, replaced by an entirely new STS model based on the rear wheel drive GM Sigma platform. All wheel drive is offered as an option, the first Cadillac sedan to be available with this drive system.
