I am not keen on French engineering and purchased a Citroen because most of the self employed contractors that I know either have a Dispatch or a Berlingo. My base 1.
It kept the original interior and "Satellite" controls until 1985 when, along with the Citroen BX, it was updated with a new bulkier dashboard, instruments and switchgear that made the car feel smaller inside.
Citroen Berlingo, Peugeot Partner, Renault Kangoo and the Honda Jazz were also vying for forecourt attention long before the Fusion's arrival. Ford's second mistake is to view the Fusion primarily as a young person's mode of transport.
It has a much sleeker profile, but the real head turner is the front, where the C5 has been given a large attractive grille and sweeping headlamps, while the Citroen badge flows into the bonnet line, in keeping with the current brand style.
