Usually, the very least I like to drive is a 1.2-litre engine. The more power, the better! But the cute little 5-door Daihatsu Charade quickly stole my heart and I was reluctant to return it.

We loved the Daihatsu Charade turbo and bemoaned the missing GTTi. The fast Familia and the incredible Kei class Japanese were more cars we never saw in decent numbers.
The buyers KIA is hoping to attract are 'mid to late 20s' who will see the car as cheap, cheerful, practical and fun, a bit like the original Mini, the new FIAT Panda and the current Daihatsu Charade.
The engine was a modified Daihatsu Charade 1.3 litre engine, with constant four wheel drive. It comes in 5-speed manual transmission or 4-speed automatic transmission. The second generation of Terios is co-developed by Daihatsu and Toyota.
To ensure none of your boost gauge hoses pop apart, the vacuum hose clamps used on the Daihatsu Charade Turbo are, again, ideal and available for free. We didn't bother with these since we don't expect to run mega boost.
