Daimler made the excuse that it would drag down Mercedes' brand equity to have substantial parts used in such an entry level vehicle, like the Neon, which would likely sell for well less than 2/3 the price of the C230.
Perhaps DaimlerChrysler should consider a similarly tricked-out Neon. After all, such a car works wonders for the corporate image--and for the adrenaline flow of its lucky owners.

What is up, DaimlerChrysler? The 2000 Concorde is an attractive vehicle which handles well. It accelerates quickly and is comfortable. AH, however, cannot overlook the problems. Therefore, he cannot recommend this vehicle.
It is not true that it is based on E- class. It is a clone between C and E. Apart from Glasgow Mercedes, the service is appalling. If they don't make reliable cars, the least Daimler Benz could do is to listen to customers.
