A facelifted model (codenamed M150) was introduced in South Korea in late 2000, and exported from 2001. Following Daewoo's takeover by General Motors in 2002, the engine range was updated with a 1.0-litre S-Tec unit.

The facelift doesn't alter the dimensions of the cars, so the hatchback remains a relatively impractical car for any more than two adults. It is possible to squeeze a passenger in the rear, but not without compromising front footwell space.

why would anyone care for a faceless giant corporation as much as he does? They do not pay him or care for him, so why would he care???? Unless he is seriously disturbed, that is.
I've not been a big fan of the 5-Series' styling, and while this 2011 model has a bit of a facelift, it is still not a great-looking sedan. The interior is attractive, however, with the nice materials expected from a BMW.
We do, however, like the effects of last year's facelift. The front end, particularly, is much smoother and does hang together better visually than before.

Not too bad but not enough changed. More like a facelift on the outside and a modest change on the inside. Still identical mechanically though.
I don't think it is enough to sell this at the low end ($25k) over the Passat.
