I had a Fiesta before the Fusion. This car cost more, but is not really much better. Quite spacious & a nice enough drive. I purchased mine used from a car supermarket so paid a reasonable price.

The Ford Fusion has presence, unusual among midsize sedans that tend to blend in to the scenery. Some people, including us, like the aggressive, angular look of the Fusion, some don't.
The 2006 Ford Fusion breathes a fresh attitude into the American mid-size car. It distinguishes itself in what is the most competitive of vehicle segments with its standout exterior design and engaging driving dynamics.
Our 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid has had no such problems, but that shouldn't be a surprise.
For 2010, the Ford Fusion undergoes a redesign, and adds a new Hybrid model. The conventional Fusion receives a new four-cylinder and two V6 engines, sportier styling, a new interior, and a wide range of new standard and optional features.
We managed to get behind the steering wheel of a pre-production Ford Fusion in mid-July, and after that brief introduction, we came away impressed.
Our first impression getting behind the wheel of the Ford Fusion was "nice." Handles well, easy to use accessories, respectable mileage and cost, a definite European feel. In all, a good intro.
The 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine in Ford Fusion puts out 175 hp.
