The Ford Truck folks committed only one unpardonable by us: the clear plastic over the instrument pod is way, way too reflective and makes most of the instruments difficult to see in bright sunlight.

The result is an innovative vehicle with the best attributes of both. The comfort and handling of a sport utility are retained, while the toughness and durability of Ford trucks are readily apparent.
The SUVs look boxier and more muscular. At first, I thought I preferred the Tribute over the Escape, styling-wise, however I have changed my mind: The Escape is way more attractive thanks mostly to its distinctive Ford truck grill.
